Scan Attendance

Marking your attendance is quick and effortless using the Presence mobile and web application. Scan the event QR code generated by your admin and your attendance will be recorded in real-time.

Access the Scanner

Once logged in:

Navigate to the Attendance section.
Tap on the Scan QR Code button.

This opens your device's camera within the app to scan the QR code for the event.

Permissions Required

Ensure the app has camera permissions enabled. If denied, you'll be prompted to allow access.

Scan the Event QR

Point your device’s camera at the QR code displayed by the admin. Ensure the code is fully visible and well-lit.

If the QR is valid, your attendance will be marked immediately.
A confirmation message will appear: Attendance marked successfully.

Common Issues

QR not scanning?

Ensure proper lighting.
Clean your camera lens.
Adjust the distance between the phone and QR.

Invalid QR error?

The event may be closed.
You may already have marked attendance.
The code might belong to a different organization.

Contact your admin for help in these cases.

Realtime Sync

Once scanned, attendance is synced immediately with the cloud via Firebase. The admin can monitor your entry in real-time from their dashboard.

Notes

You can only scan an event once.
No attendance will be marked after the event ends.
